HISTORY CONTINUED:
I WAS MAKING WINE WHEN I WAS 14 YEARS OLD. THEN 2 YEARS LATER, MY FRIEND TALKED ME INTO MAKING SOME PLUM AND OTHER FRUIT BRANDY. WE MADE THE EQUIPMENT FOR THIS PURPOSE ALSO. I FINISHED MY SCHOOLING IN AN AGRICULTURE NURSERY, VINEYARD & WINEMAKING INSTITUTION WHERE I LEARNED HOW TO CAREFULLY PLANT THE GRAPEVINE AND LEARN HOW DEEP TO CULTIVATE THE SOIL FOR THE GRAPE VINE ROOTS TO GROW DEEPER AND QUICKER SO IT CAN SURVIVE WITHOUT IRRIGATION AND PICK UP VARIOUS MINERALS WHICH WILL MAKE THE FRUIT BETTER AND THE WINE TASTIER. ALSO NOT TO PICK THE GRAPE TOO EARLY SO IT DEVELOPS BETTER AND MAKES THE WINE MORE FULL BODIED, FRUITIER TASTE AND HAVE A MORE DISTINGUISHED COLOR. TODAY I STILL PRACTICE THIS.

MY OTHER WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
I LEARNED PLANNING, BUDGETING, ACCOUNTING, AND MANAGEMENT IN VARIOUS INSTITUTIONS IN HUNGARY AND COLLEGES IN THE U.S.A.
I GAINED EXPERIENCE IN PLANNING, BUDGETING, ACCOUNTING, AND MANAGEMENT IN HUNGARY. (HUNGARIAN RAIL ROAD, HUNGARIAN ARMY, AND IN THE U.S.A. (R.T.D. BUS CO, WHITE MOTOR CORP, WHITE FRONT STORES, FRANCHINI PET & FOOD SUPPLY, LA COUNTY
MUNICIPAL COURT, LA COUNTY POLICE, ALEX FARM FRESH EGGS AND THE VADAI WORLD TRADE ENTERPRISE LLC VADAI JEWELRY/ DIAMOND, VADAI BARRELS AND VADAI WINE.)

WHY I LEFT HUNGARY:
DURING THE REVOLUTION IN HUNGARY THAT STARTED OCTOBER 23, 1956 I LISTENED TO THE ENGLISH NEWS ON THE RADIO. THE ENGLISH MADE IT CLEAR TO ME, THAT NO ONE WILL COME TO HUNGARY TO MAKE THE SOVIET ARMY MOVE OUT EVEN THOUGH SOME OTHER COUNTRIES NEWS AGENCY WOULD HAVE YOU BELIEVE SOMEONE WILL COME TO HELP. THEY ALSO SAID IF ANYONE WAS INVOLVED IN THE REVOLUTION AGAINST THE COMMUNIST REGIME THEY BETTER LEAVE HUNGARY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AS THE SOVIET TANKS WILL RAPIDLY CLOSE THE BORDERS, REINSTATE THE COMMUNIST REGIME AND PROSECUTE THE REVOLUTIONARIES. BECAUSE THE CONDITIONS WERE SO DANGEROUS AND CHANGING SO RAPIDLY, I AND MY COUSIN HAD TO LEAVE HUNGARY BEFORE I COULD TELL MY MOTHER GOOD-BYE.
IT TOOK US 3 DAYS TO CROSS THE BORDER TO AUSTRIA. THE FIRST DAY WE WALKED 25 MILES. EVERYONE ON THE OTHERSIDE OF THE BORDER TREATED US VERY NICE. I AND MY COUSIN ENDED UP IN CALIFORNIA. A PRESBYTERIAN MINISTER SPONSORED US. HE AND HIS CHURCH PEOPLE WERE VERY NICE TO US.

AFTER RETIREMENT, I AND MY WIFE GOT BORED AND WE STARTED THE WINE BARREL BUSINESS FROM HUNGARY. A FRENCH WINE MAKER TOLD ME HE KNOWS ABOUT OAK FORESTS AND BARRELS VERY WELL AND ASKED ME WHAT OAK FOREST I MAKE OUR BARRELS FROM. I TOLD HIM THE ZEMPLEN FOREST OF HUNGARY. HE THEN TOLD ME, THIS FOREST BARRELS MAKES THE BEST TASTE OF WINE, EVEN BETTER THAN THE ALLIER AND NEVERS FAMOUS FRENCH FOREST. HOWEVER, HE SAID VERY FEW WINEMAKERS KNOW THIS. THEN I DECIDED TO MAKE WINE AGAIN. EVERYONE WHO USED OUR BARRELS, AGREE WITH THE FRENCH WINEMAKERS COMMENTS AND THEY MADE MANY MEDALS FROM THE WINE THEY MADE IN OUR BARRELS. THIS ALSO IS PROVEN BY THE WINEMAKERS OF HUNGARY SCORING HIGH IN WORLD
COMPETITIONS.
