OUR WINE PRESS HISTORY
A French Antique wine press was purchased in Paris, France at a street sale.
It was taken to Hungary and used as a model for our Wine Presses.
The wood we use in our presses is acacia wood from the Szabolcs region of Hungary.
The original press was made completely out of wood.
Our new presses are made the same way.
We do not use cast iron like other companies use.
After our acacia wood is properly dried, it does not change its shape.
This wood is chemically neutral.
Therefore, it does not affect the color and aroma of the must/wine.
Because our presses do not have cast iron, it creates a more original fruity taste must/wine.
